Now that you're here, feel free to take a look around! First things first, though. Let us tell you a little about who and what we are. The Gold Wing Touring Association (GWTA) is an international not-for-profit organization of touring motorcyclists, predominantly Gold Wings but not exclusively. We identify ourselves with the Gold Wing but are neither affiliated with, nor receive funding from, the manufacturer. GWTA exists as an organization wholly owned by the membership to promote a positive image of motorcycling, safe riding habits, and social interaction with those who share an enthusiasm for the touring lifestyle. In plain English, we like to hang out with our friends, make new friends, go for short rides, long rides and every kind of ride in between! The official GWTA motto is "Destination Friendship," but the unofficial motto is "Ride to Eat, Eat to Ride" (to paraphrase another organization's credo)! Any excuse for a dinner ride, breakfast ride, ice cream run...count us in! That's the "social interaction" we all love! And don’t let the words “Gold Wing” scare you off. We want to ride with anyone on ANY kind of motorcycle! We invite you to visit us or attend an event. Our members are more than happy to answer any questions you may have about the organization. |
